Michelle Lynch-Bowling, D.D.S., is originally from Martinsburg, West Virginia. She graduated from Martinsburg Senior High School in the top ten of her class. She then attended Boston College and graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Biology in 2002.
It was at Boston College where Dr. Lynch-Bowling found an interest in dentistry. She worked for East Boston Neighborhood Health Center as a dental assistant in the pediatric clinic two days a week and it was there where she considered making dentistry a career. Dr. Lynch-Bowling continued her post-graduate education at West Virginia University School of Dentistry where she graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2006.
Dr. Lynch-Bowling was instrumental in bringing the 2009 Mission of Mercy (MOM) project to Parkersburg. The MOM project was a two day dental clinic which served over 1000 people with free services. She served on the steering committee and spent many hours in the planning of the project, as well as donating her time clinically. She was granted, The Spirit of Wood County Award, for her community achievements associated with the Mission of Mercy project.
Dr. Lynch-Bowling enjoys ballet and is a former dancer. She teaches ballet with PACE studio.
Dr. Lynch-Bowling met her husband, Dr. Jason Bowling, in Morgantown, and they were married in her hometown of Martinsburg, WV in the spring of 2006. They have a son, Jay, and daughter, Malaya, who keep them happily busy away from the office.
